Controlled: A-B-C-D-E (require ATC)
Uncontrolled: G usually 1,200 feet but can get as low as 700 feet to 14,500 feet
B-C-D are towered airspaces if the tower close it becomes either G or E.
A start at 18,000 feet and is IRF only
E is everything else usually starts at 1,200 feet AGL to the exception of a dashed magenta line that class E extend down all the way to the surface
G ground up (start at the surface and extend to overlying airspace)
Class D airspace is 4nm radius and 2,500 feet AGL
Blue airports have tower magenta one don’t.
Class B airspace is a solid blue color
Class C airspace is a solid magenta color
Class D airspace is a dashed blue color

Communications requirements
Class B: Explicit clearance is required. Transponder is required.
Class C: Communications must be established with the approach controller. Transponder is required.
Class D: Communications must be established with the tower controller.
